CREA is a feminist human rights organisation based in the global South that promotes, protects and advances women’s human rights and the sexual rights of all people by strengthening feminist leadership, organisations and movements; influencing global and national advocacy; creating information, knowledge and scholarship; changing public attitudes and discourses and addressing exclusion.

The Count Me IN! South Asia Conference is part of Count Me In!, a CREA initiative that demonstrates our commitment to addressing the marginalisation of women in sex work, lesbians, disabled, single and trans women. This marginalisation prevents countless women from accessing  crucial services, and restricts their participation in decision-making processes that affect their lives. Count Me IN! focuses on the issue of violence against marginalised women in South Asia. Through interrelated capacity-building, research and advocacy programmes, and the Count Me IN! South Asia Conference, CREA seeks to count in the unheard voices of marginalized women, including them in strategizing and policy-making initiatives that affect their lives, livelihoods and choices.
